Gateway Canyons Resort will double the number of hotel rooms on campus with the addition of the Kayenta Lodge. An architectural char- acter inspired by the unique landscape of southwestern Colorado will complement the rich native history. Guests will have the opportunity to view local artwork and shop for other essentials in the Lodge shops.
Another key component of the expansion is the Festival Walk. Located on the southern border of the grand lawn, the Festival Walk will provide covered, open air spaces for artisans to display their work for guests and concert goers attending performances at the Mission Bell Amphithe- ater. The Mission Bell will announce shows, weddings and other events.
