A mix of detached and paired homes creates variety and personality within the mountain enclave of Elkstone. Indigenous materials includ- ing square cut logs and natural stone are used liberally on all elements. Rustic details complement shed dormers, metal brackets and timber porches. Architectural character is continued throughout the interior of the homes with wood, metal and stone elements reinforcing the western mountain theme.
